1. What is required software and hardware in order to take this class?

All that is needed is an Internet capable computer. Internet Explorer browser will work the best. The AOL browser is not recommended for viewing the classes.

2. What is the cost of taking a class?

All classes are free, however some classes will have a fee for the certificate of completion. You will have the option of declining the certificate and therefore no charges will be incurred.

3. Do I have to be approved before I can take a class?

No, anyone can take People Resources classes.

4. What if I don't belong to any organization?

We encourage you to join one of our partner organizations but it is not required.

5. Why do I have to give my home address? Why can't you just e-mail my certificate?

Certificates are mailed so they are not in electronic form, where they could be altered or duplicated.

6. What do I do if a web page isn't acting correctly?

7. Who do I contact if I don't understand something during the class?

Contact your instructor by e-mailing instructor@peopleresources.org

8. What if you don't offer a class that I would like to take?

Please e-mail instructor@peopleresources.org if you have a suggestion for a class.

9. What if I would like to create a class?

If you have expertise in a certain area that you would like to share with others, please contact instructor@peopleresources.org with a brief description of the class and your qualifications.

10. Do I have to know web programming to teach a class or have special software?

All that is needed is a word document that contains the content of the class. Microsoft Word works the best. You may include graphics, but they must be original or you must have been granted permission in writing from the owner to use them.
