As I have gotten older and learned from the trials and tribulations I have experienced, I have come to determine that life is the ultimate word problem. We all struggle with immediate issues like getting through college algebra, or larger issues like finding a career and success. But there again, the same rules apply.
To gain success in life, one must understand your goals, develop a plan to achieve them and then execute that plan successfully. Now I am sure your thinking, there's a huge difference between a “Johnny went to the market to buy apples” problem and the ever increasing complexities of the human existence. And you're right. However, the analogy serves to illustrate that no matter how complex the task, predicament, or pitfall; the steps to success are the same.
