DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL EVENTS- Fundraiser
 
Leading non-profit, voluntary health organization seeks an aggressive,
self-starter for fundraising initiatives in our Orlando Chapter office.
Candidate will be responsible for meeting monetary goals associated with
various event fundraisers such as our GREAT STRIDES Signature Walk-a-thon,
CureFinders. Responsibilities include recruitment of community leaders;
committee recruitment and management, training and activation; recruitment
of corporate sponsors, ability to expand our existing support base is a
must. Other duties include: cold calling, working with college interns,
solicitation of funds from the corporate sector, obtaining, and management
of event budgets and building relationships with CF families.
 
Candidate must possess 3-5 years experience of verifiable successful
fund-raising/special events or marketing/sales. Walk experience helpful.
Candidate must have excellent communication skills and proven track record
of sales achievements and the ability to maximize fundraising opportunities.
