Job Description:
The Jewish United Fund/Federation of Metropolitan Chicago is looking for a
Recruiter to be responsible for the recruitment and placement of all
professional staff for the Jewish United Fund/ Jewish Federation/ JFMC
Facilities Corporation and Hillels of Illinois. Specifically, the Recruiter
will implement all procedures in regard to the recruitment of staff; provide
appropriate counsel to managers to assess and develop recruitment
strategies; maintain accurate, up-to-date and ADA compliant job descriptions
for all positions; coordinate all aspects of campus and other recruitment
programs including implementing annual city-wide college recruitment program
with the affiliated agencies; and assist in the recruitment and placement of
support staff, when needed.
 
REQUIREMENTS: Qualified candidates will have a bachelors degree in
Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related
field; minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience; PHR or SPHR
certification preferred; knowledgeable in Microsoft Suite of Products,
databases and Cyborg HRIS; ability to travel to college campus sites
throughout the Midwest; and knowledgeable or have an interest in the Jewish
community preferred.
