Job Description:
People & Systems is assisting an international hunger-related organization
in the Boston area with their search for a Director of Development.
 
OPPORTUNITY:
 
This is an exciting opportunity for a fundraising generalist with the
know-how to build a strong fundraising infrastructure and ability to raise
approximately $4 million from both individuals and institutions. With so
much potential for growth and national expansion, this position will allow
you to join at the ground level while making a difference in lives of hungry
children. Working closely with the President and the board of directors you
will build a fundraising effort to include prospect research, developing
solicitation strategies and preparing, submitting, managing, generating
follow up reports, and fulfilling project reporting requirements on all
grant proposals to foundations, government, and corporate sources.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
The position requires a BA and 3+ years of demonstrated generalist
fundraising experience. Candidates without fundraising experience will NOT
be considered.
