The Whitehead seeks an experienced and collaborative Senior Development
Officer, Corporate & Foundation Relations to help lead the expansion and
diversification of philanthropic support. In partnership with the Director
of Development, the Senior Development Officer will have primary
responsibility for corporate and foundation relations.
 
Requirements: The proven experience, stature, and intellectual curiosity to
strategically and effectively position the Whitehead for continued and
expanded institutional support; Demonstrated success managing a strong
foundation and corporate relations program, ideally within a scientific or
research-intensive environment; Experience working successfully with senior
level scientists or faculty; Ability to solicit and understand scientific
research (especially early stage biomedical research); Superb communication
skills.
