Job Description:
The Massachusetts General Hospital is consistently
ranked as one of the
countrys best hospitals. The MGH conducts the largest
hospital-based
research program in the
million.
MGH is currently in the planning
stages of a major, ten-figure hospital-wide
comprehensive campaign. In
anticipation of this significant campaign, MGH
seeks an experienced fund
raiser to serve in the pivotal leadership role of
Director of Corporate and
Foundation Relations.
As a
senior member of the well respected, stable MGH Development Office,
the
Director will:
design and implement a
strategic and operational plan for building and
managing comprehensive
relationships with corporations and foundations;
partner with senior
leadership, the Board of Trustees, key physicians and
scientists, high-level
volunteers, and development colleagues to identify
and develop opportunities
to increase institutional support;
manage and grow the Corporate and
Foundation team.
The
Director will bring vision, leadership, and significant experience
building
support from corporations and foundations. Requirements: proven
ability to
expand and strengthen partnerships with corporations and
foundations, ideally
on behalf of an academic medical, research, or teaching
institution during a
significant campaign; ability to contribute positively
to the MGH culture in
which passion for the mission, dedication to
excellence, collaboration, and
mutual respect are guiding principles.
