Job Description:
Boys Hope Girls Hope, a non-profit youth agency located in Detroit is
seeking an experienced Development Director with the primary responsibility
of Fundraising. The successful candidate will:

<br>
 Have a Bachelors Degree and at least 2 years experience in a non-profit
environment, preferably in fund-raising.
<br>
 Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
<br>
 Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Internet application
<br>
 Experience using Fundraising softwear
<br>
 Experience working with Governing Boards
<br>
 Good presentation skills with all levels of individuals
<br>
 
<br>
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
<br>
 
<br>
 Working with the Executive Director to develop annual fundraising strategy
<br>
 Develop, organize and execute fundraising activities, including special
events, grant proposals, direct mail, major gift solicitations, etc.
<br>
 Identify new opportunities for revenue generation through donor research
and identification
<br>
 Monitor and report on the progress of the Development Plan and make
regular reports to the Board and Executive Director.
<br>
 Properly and accurately record all donations in the donor database, and
acknowledge receipt.
<br>
 Assist Board members and other volunteers in their donor solicitation
<br>
 Design and propose brochures, fact sheets, presentations, and other
collaterals needed for fundraising
<br>
 Assist with production and distribution of quarterly newsletter.
<br>
 Serve as an active part of the senior leadership of the organization.
<br>
