Communities In Schools-Central Texas, Inc. seeks qualified
social services
professional to assume a leadership position managing the
innovative, new
Communities In Schools/Big Brothers Big Sisters Middle School
Mentoring
Program. The Sr. Program Coordinator will have administrative,
budget and
reporting oversight. This position will develop and implement the
mentor
recruitment campaign, collaborate with CIS and BB/BS staff, and
provide
supervision and training for staff involved in the collaboration.
The
successful candidate must have significant experience and
extensive
knowledge in the mentoring and volunteer management arenas.
Candidates will
also have at least 5 years of demonstrated experience in
collaborating with
other agencies and service providers, utilizing community
resources, project
management and development. Proven communication,
organization, team
building, supervision and training skills are required.
Master's degree in
social/human services field is also a
requirement.
This program is
funded by the
number of
longevity of supportive adult relationships for at-risk middle
school
students.
