Job Description:
Summary of Responsibilities:
The Business Resource Coordinator will connect Washington CASH!&s
entrepreneurs to resources in the community that can help them strengthen
their businesses.
 
Job Description:
This intern will venture out into the community to meet with social service
organizations, government agencies, and other business-support networks, and
to collect materials and information about their events/trainings that could
be of benefit to our clients.
 
Specific Responsibilities:


X Identify target business-related resources in the community (King and
Kitsap Counties);

X Develop a strategy for Washington CASH to keep up-to-date on these
resources.

X Meet weekly with key resources in the community to share information.

X Compile these resources in an easy-to-access format for our clients in
the Washington CASH office.

X Check-in weekly with the Program Director, and report volunteer hours
weekly online.
 
Time Commitment:
The Business Resource Coordinator Intern must commit to 6 months or 2
academic quarters of service (whichever is longer). The intern will be
expected to work 10-15 hours per week; the exact schedule will be negotiated
with the Program Director.
 
Qualifications:
An ideal candidate would be a junior or senior undergraduate
business/economics student, or an MBA student with general knowledge of
small business development and microcredit. Must demonstrate independence,
an ability learn quickly, and attention to detail.
