Job Description:
The ONE Campaign is dedicated to helping Africa beat AIDS and achieve the
Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by raising public awareness about the
issues of global poverty, hunger, disease and efforts to fight such problems
in the world's poorest countries. ONE is a growing and dynamic NGO with
offices in Washington, DC, London, Berlin and Abuja.
 
We are seeking an Operations Coordinator with approximately 3-5 years of
experience.

Background:
 
ONE seeks to hire a highly motivated, energetic, well organized Operations
Coordinator whose primary responsibility is to help execute and support
various internally focused projects designed to enhance ONEs organizational
effectiveness and sustainability. Responsibilities will vary in scope and
complexity from overseeing ONEs year-round intern program to maintaining
ONEs intranet as a comprehensive resource for all employees.

result, this position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to
multi-task, and an interest in embracing and executing new projects/tasks as
they arise.
 
Basic Function:
Working with the Director of Organizational Development, manage and provide
support to internal projects designed to enhance ONEs organizational
effectiveness and sustainability. Projects include executing ONEs
semi-annual employee survey, preparing for the annual staff retreat, helping
to ensure highly effective intra- and inter-office coordination and
communication, managing ONEs intranet, and a range of organizational
topics. Hire must have exceptional organizational skills, strong project
and task management experience, and a highly collaborative work style.
Strict confidentiality and a proven ability to exercise good judgment are
essential.
 
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Employee Survey: Administer ONEs semi-annual employee survey, assist in
the survey design process, analyze results, prepare findings, and implement
employee survey action plan
 Intranet: Project manage the continuous development and maintenance of
ONEs intranet, with a focus on making sure all content and information is
up-to-date and well communicated
 Interns: Oversee ONEs year-round internship program and coordinate intern
workload, projects, and events
 Performance Reviews: Support the rollout of ONEs semi-annual performance
review process, ensuring that the process is up-to-date, effective, and
completed in a timely manner
 Employee Newsletter: Manage the development of ONEs monthly internal
newsletter and author certain portions as needed
 Staff Retreat: Serve as the project manager for all logistics related to
ONEs annual staff retreat
 Staff Working Group: Serve as a standing member to ONEs Staff Working
Group and support the development of initiatives and projects resulting from
the groups work
 Internal Communications: Support inter-office coordination, with a focus
on announcements and updates
 Research: Research management and organizational development topics on an
ongoing basis and analyze their relevance to ONEs operational needs
