ABOUT POWER VOTE
Through Power Vote, a non-partisan campaign, Energy Action Coalition is
actively building a youth voter bloc 1 million strong to demand bold federal
climate legislation, a moratorium on coal and other dirty energy, and to
create millions of good, green jobs. EAC will be empowering youth to
effectively elevate the importance of these critical issues in the
elections. Youth will start by signing our Power Vote pledge and then get
plugged into the incredible youth climate movement sweeping the nation.
Large-scale training programs held over the summer will equip youth leaders
with the skills and resources necessary to run a large scale Power Vote
field campaign. The goal of these trainings is to bring innovative
strategies to the grassroots and to train a powerhouse team of organizers
prepared to train thousands more young people, building an unstoppable
ground force this November and beyond. Power Vote will build the numbers
and the power of the youth climate movement so that we can not only work
together more effectively on our campuses
