Chief Executive Officer
Magic City Enterprises, a non-profit 501c (3) corporation based in Cheyenne, Wyoming is seeking a highly motivated CEO who has a strong background and interest in community-based programs for people with disabilities. The successful candidate plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and evaluates all programs and activities of MCE. Develops and supervises a staff of 300; develops and manages operating budget of $10,000,000 annually. Reports to the MCE’s Board of Directors.
Essential Responsibilities include:
· Identifying actual and anticipated community service requirements.
· Addressing changing community and professional trends.
· Maintaining agency operations.
· Maintaining the stability and reputation of the agency.
· Maintaining agency credibility.
· Promoting positive agency image.
· Contributing to the board’s effectiveness.
· Maintaining professional and technical knowledge.
Qualified individuals will have:
· Master’s degree from an accredited college with major course work in social work, psychology, rehabilitation, nonprofit management or a closely related field.
· Minimum of ten (10) years of full-time employment, at least five (5) years of which are in administrative work directing professional, technical or supervisory personnel in the field of developmental disabilities.
· Experience in the administration of rehabilitative facilities; writing grants; formulation of policy; and preparation of program plans, procedures manuals and various federal and state reports as required by law.
