Position Description

The 401(k) Specialist represents Fidelity Investments, and its external clients, by providing pro-active financial solutions in the area of retirement planning providing a consultative dialogue with each customer to identify both their current stated needs, as well as help to uncover their unstated, hidden needs in regards to retirement planning.  With this approach, you will deliver exceptional financial customer service by building rapport and developing trust with each customer.  Due to continuous growth, we have multiple opportunities available within our Covington, Kentucky location for individuals to help us with continuing to be the nation's leading provider of defined contribution services.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities

Additional Information:

Centers are open 8:00 am – 8:00 pm Monday – Friday. Training is for 6 weeks Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Typical hours after training will be 11:30 am – 8:00 pm or 12:00 pm – 8:30. Salary – 29,500, plus paid overtime and quarterly bonus.

Licensing:

Series 6 license: Registration qualifies a candidate to transact an NASD member's business in redeemable securities of companies registered. The exam is a 2-hour, 100-multiple choice questions.

Series 63 license: The exam requires one hour and fifteen minutes to complete, and contains 65 multiple-choice questions.
